Blog,
Where is my car right now? Following the ride on the map
You have handed over the key and the car has gone. During the ride you can see on a map where it is: live, with the time of the last position and the expected arrival time.

How do I see where my car is?
With your booking confirmation you receive an email with a link to the status page. You need neither an app nor an account:
- Before pick-up the page says that the ride has not started yet.
- After pick-up the map appears under "Where is the car?", with the last position and the pick-up time.
- Once the car is at its destination, the page shows the arrival time.
How do I know when the car will arrive?
From the last position and the remaining route we calculate an expected arrival time. It is an estimate: a traffic jam or roadworks can shift it. The page updates by itself for as long as it stays open. When the car is coming back to you, this tells you roughly when to be at the door.
How up to date is the position?
The position comes from the driver's phone and is recorded only during the ride. The map shows the last position received and says how old it is. In a tunnel or with poor reception it can be a few minutes old. The page then says how many minutes ago the last position arrived and shows no arrival time until a new one comes in.
What happens to the data?
Recording runs only from pick-up to handover. The page shows the last position, not the route driven and not who is driving. We delete the positions a few days after the ride. What remains is the photo report, with mileage and fuel level at pick-up and at handover.
What does it cost?
We do not charge for the map. Pick-up and return together cost CHF 129 if the destination is up to 10 km away. A single ride costs CHF 69. Up to 20 km adds CHF 40 per ride, up to 35 km CHF 80. All prices exclude VAT.
