Holiday or business trip: what to do with the car at the airport or station?
If you drive to the station or the airport, the car sits in a car park for days or weeks. Instead, a driver can take it at the meeting point and drive it home or to the garage. It is ready again for your return.
Can my car stay at home or at the garage while I am away?
Yes. You drive to the station or airport yourself. There the driver takes the car and drives it to the address you give: home, or to the garage for a service or a tyre change. For your return you book a second ride back to the meeting point.
We only drive the car. We do not carry passengers: the ride is not a taxi and not a shuttle.
How does the handover at the station or airport work?
You need a meeting point where the car may stop briefly, for example a short-stay car park:
- You enter the meeting point, the destination address and the time window and see the fixed price.
- The driver takes the car and keys at the meeting point and creates the photo report.
- For the ride back you choose a time window with some margin after your arrival. If you are delayed, let us know on WhatsApp or by phone.
What does the ride from or to the airport or station cost?
The price depends on the road distance between the meeting point and the destination address. One ride costs CHF 69 if the two are up to 10 km apart. Up to 20 km it is CHF 40 more, up to 35 km CHF 80 more. For longer distances, for example to an airport further away, a per-kilometre rate applies that the calculator shows before you book.
The ride there and the ride back are two single rides. If the driver waits at the meeting point for more than 15 minutes, CHF 10 is added per 15 minutes. All prices exclude VAT and parking fees.
