Tyre change while you are at work: how your car gets to the garage without you
You need to change your tyres, but you work exactly when the garage is open. A pick-up and delivery service solves that: a driver collects your car from your workplace or your home, takes it to the garage or tyre shop and brings it back after the change.
Why is a tyre change so hard to fit in?
In spring and autumn everyone wants to change tyres at the same time. Garages then mostly offer appointments during normal working hours. If you drive there yourself, half a day is quickly gone: the drive there, the wait and the drive back.
How does a tyre change work without you?
All you need is the appointment at the garage. The driver takes care of the rest:
- You enter the pick-up address, the garage and the time window and see the fixed price.
- The driver collects the car, with the wheels in the boot if you wish, and creates a photo report.
- After the change the driver brings the car back to your address.
What does it cost?
Pick-up and return together cost CHF 129 if the garage is up to 10 km away. Up to 20 km adds CHF 40 per ride, up to 35 km CHF 80. The prices exclude VAT and the garage's work: the garage bills you directly for the wheel change.
