Damaged car: having it taken to the body shop
After a parking scrape or hail damage the car has to go to the body shop, often for several days. Instead of driving there twice and arranging how to get back, you have the car collected and brought back after the repair.

How does my car get to the body shop if I cannot drive it?
You make the appointment with the body shop and book pick-up and return. The driver collects the drivable car from you and leaves it there. When the repair is finished, the driver brings it back. We cannot transfer vehicles that are not drivable.
Why is the photo report especially useful after damage?
At every handover a photo report is created with at least 10 photos, mileage, fuel level, time and signature. The driver marks visible damage directly on the photo. This shows which damage was already there at pick-up.
What does the ride to the body shop cost?
Pick-up and return together cost CHF 129 if the destination is up to 10 km away. A single ride costs CHF 69. Up to 20 km adds CHF 40 per ride, up to 35 km CHF 80. All prices exclude VAT. The body shop bills the repair directly to you or your insurer.
