End of lease: having the car taken back to the dealer

At the end of the lease the car has to go back to the dealer, often on a working day. A driver takes the car there. With the photo report you keep your own record of the car's condition.

Why is it worth having your own report when you return a leased car?

When the car is returned, its condition is assessed. The photo report from the pick-up shows, with photos, mileage and timestamp, how the car was when it was collected from you. It does not replace the dealer's return report, but it adds your side to it.

How does the return ride work?

You agree the return date with the dealer and book a single ride:

  1. Enter the pick-up address, the dealer and the time window and see the fixed price.
  2. The driver takes the car, keys and documents and photographs the vehicle.
  3. The driver hands the car over at the dealer's. You receive the report as a PDF.

What does the ride to the dealer cost?

One ride costs CHF 69 if pick-up and destination are up to 10 km apart. Up to 20 km it is CHF 40 more, up to 35 km CHF 80 more. For longer distances a per-kilometre rate applies, shown by the calculator. All prices exclude VAT.
